Hide Market

Last week was more of the same for the U.S. hide market.  Sales price for U.S. Steer hides that were steady with those of booked over the last few weeks.  But, the number of Steer hides sold may well have fallen short of week’s production. The All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) has come and gone, but it did not appear to have given us the answer we were looking for as to which direction the U.S.A. hide prices will be heading moving into the fall.
